Golden State in Denver

Golden State Events’ 2019 “Summer Super Bowl Showdown”, brought our CEO Ellie Hufana, our leadership, and winning team members to the Denver, Colorado sunshine!

A city located exactly a mile above sea level, comfortable temperatures in the 80s, inspired the team to scooter around downtown, exploring the sights, while jamming to street performers, and passing the time, until the highlight, an NFL game at Empower Field.

Built in 2001, Empower Field holds nearly 80,000 football fans; the roar of the crowd had the whole team up, and cheering, as the Denver Broncos took on the Jacksonville Jaguars. And won.

Camaraderie was built, as those with more football knowledge, explained the game, and everyone joined the celebrating in understanding. The smiles, infectious, play by play.

Continuing the Super Bowl theme, the team was treated to a full steak and sea food dinner, at Former Denver Broncos’ Coach, Mike “Shanahan’s Steakhouse.”

With fresh fish flown in daily, and Lombardi Trophies on display, the meal was nothing short of inspirational. Attention to detail is often what distinguishes the great, from the good, and Mike Shanahan’s restaurant is a microcosm of how he is only 1 of 6 coaches to win back to back Super Bowls, during his time in Denver from 1995 until 2008: The exterior has all the beauty and structure of an art museum, and even the benches, are bull cowhide.

Most of the team opted to try the house specialty Tomahawk Wagyu steak, an experience not likely to be duplicated, as the softness of the meat nearly melted on the tongue.

We especially would like to thank the hard-working team members, that won this year’s Summer Super Bowl Showdown, for their dedication, passion, and commitment to the team, and our clients, as we enter this year’s 4th Quarter!
